To ensure a secure andleak free seal between the gasket and the component part you may need to use asuitable joining compound.
Hylomar Hylotyte Red is a semihardening jointing compound that is effective over a wide range of temperaturesand, is also resistant to a wide range of fluids, including fuels, oils, waterand lubricants.
It can be used to sealjoint faces, preformed gaskets and threaded parts and is an effective sealantfor metal to metal and plastic to plastic joints, it is also effective on roughor pitted surfaces.
This product never fullyhardens offering the major benefit of maximum usage time in terms of assemblyand disassembly. This pack contains a 50g tube of Hylomar Hylotyte Red.
