- Examples of Liquids: Alcohols, acetone, acetonitrile, acetates, ether, diethanolamine, freon frigen, methylene chloride, dimethyl phthalate, dioxane, diethylamine, pyridine, etc. ; MIXING DRUM PUMPS: Mixing pump tube is to be used where it is necessary to mix and pump in a single operation. Ideal for use in containers or in drums with a 2″ bunghole. Drive shaft of pump tube is sealed by a single-acting mechanical seal and two shaft seals. Pump tube must not be allowed to run dry. Comes with 39″ pump tube and stainless steel drive shaft. NOTE: Only DB837and DB829can be used for flammable liquids and include static kit. ; D. Electric motor: Explosion-proof 1/2 HP, 120 V, 60 Hz, with 16′ cord ; Note: Models DB838, DB816, DB821, DB822, DB829 and DB830 come with Hastelloy C drive shaft. ; Pumps that have a stainless steel construction come with a wall hanger, 10 ft. bonding wire and 26′ grounding wires. ; Pumps that have a polypropylene construction come with a barrel adaptor, a wall hanger, 8′ PVC hose and hose c-clamps (except DB827) .
